Porcelain Onlays
In most situations, porcelain onlays are a superior and excellent alternative to crowns or fillings on back teeth. They're more conservative than crowns, meaning more of your tooth is preserved -- less drilling -- and the result is stronger and more natural. Onlays cover a portion of a damaged tooth as opposed to the entire tooth. And since they are made with no metal base, they can be more cosmetic due to the natural translucency of pure porcelain.

With CEREC, at Glendale Dental Arts we offer the world's best technology for tooth restoration. What you receive is a beautiful, strong, and durable treatment, that is so well-refined, it comes with a lifetime guarantee in our office! Guarantees are otherwise unheard of in dentistry. But with CEREC, our goal of achieving the ultimate, life-long, worry-free treatment is a reality.

CEREC onlays ("fillings" and partial crowns) are generally started and completed in just a SINGLE visit! Call us for more information about CEREC, or make an appointment and find out how CEREC can help you.

Onlays work in most cases, but not all. Since onlays restore portions of teeth, the remaining uncovered portion of the tooth must be strong and healthy. If the tooth is too weak, then a full coverage crown will be recommended. We'll let you know what your options are, and together we'll come up with what's best for you.
