What is a Porcelain Jacket?

A porcelain jacket is a type of crown, which contains no metal.  Because it is pure porcelain, a jacket provides maximum translucency which mimics natural enamel more closely than any other type of crown.

Porcelain jackets are beautiful, strong, and natural looking!  This is a sample case of a beautiful patient who was uncomfortable with her smile due to chipped, crooked, stained teeth, and an old metal-based crown causing irritation to her gum.
